# odio Documentation

> Official documentation site for odio, the open-source audio streaming OS for Raspberry Pi. Covers the streamer (installation, guides, use cases) and its standalone ecosystem components (go-odio-api, go-mpd-discplayer, go-odio-notify).

odio is built around an MPRIS/D-Bus model: every audio source (Spotify, Bluetooth, AirPlay, MPD, ...) exposes itself as an MPRIS player, and the odio API discovers them all. The embedded web UI, the PWA, and the Home Assistant integration build on this.
